EVE Project Advisory Panel

The EVE Advisory Panel consists of experts in the areas of environmental science, the impacts of trauma, as well as public health and policy researchers and education professionals who volunteer to assist CVVC's staff in the implementation of the initiative according to the major project outcomes developed by CVVC in collaboration with the Heinz Endowments.  They assist CVVC in selecting the “right” science to substantiate how the disproportionate exposure of minority and poor communities to environmental contaminants impact health – and in turn, adversely affect the incidence of violence, crime and conflict.   The Advisory Panel helps to ensure that all programs and projects of the initiative are utilizing the most salient and impactful cutting-edge research and scientific data in conjunction with educational best practices.  They help ensure the sustainability of the project and the development of a project model that can be utilized by others, and they also help guide the implementation efforts of the project and provide valuable feedback.
