Community Seminars:

• CVVC will provide two EVE Project community seminars to bring grass-roots community groups together with scientists, activists, researchers, and others to further educate on the environmental risk factors that contribute to violence, crime, and conflict.  The seminars will fully examine the impacts on high-risk populations through the use of speakers and interactive workshops and via a cultural and historical perspective.  The seminars will provide tools and approaches for solutions to the target populations and allied professionals who serve these at-risk groups.

Radio Programs

• CVVC will utilize the agency-produced radio programs WellWoman Radio Retreat^TM and Peace-It-Together Pittsburgh ^TM as major outreach tools and disseminators of information, as well as conveners of grassroots community dialogues, which will include interviews with stakeholders, authors, researchers, and leaders in the field as well as community leaders.
