The Center for Victims of Violence and Crime (CVVC)
CVVC is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Allegheny County) is a community-based non-profit organization fulfilling its mission of Healing Trauma, Resolving Conflict, and Ending Violence through three major components:

Crime Victim and Witness Assistance
CVVC is a comprehensive victim and witness assistance
and state designated rape crisis center that provides critical
services to men, women, and children impacted by all forms
of violence and crime. Services are confidential and
free of charge.

Dialogue and Resolution Center (DRC)
DRC provides critical conflict resolution, state recog-
nized mediation, and dialogue services. This component
also houses CVVC’s training services as well as its
Community Mediation Program and its
Victim/Offender Dialogue program.

Peace It Together ® Community Initiative
PITCI educates the community on the root causes of
violence from a public health perspective and promotes
corresponding wellness and restorative strategies.
PITCI provides community-based education,
outreach, and peace-building efforts as well as
arts and media programming.
